• Organizing and joining local activities — from yoga to hiking, cooking to co-working • Building genuine connections with your neighbors • Sharing local knowledge, tips, and recommendations • Supporting and encouraging community members • Constructive feedback and open communication • Inclusive activities that welcome diverse backgrounds
• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind • Spam, fake activities, or misleading event descriptions • Inappropriate, explicit, or offensive content • Sharing others' personal information without consent • Hate speech, discrimination, or exclusionary behavior • Unauthorized commercial solicitation or advertising • Impersonating other users or organizations • Creating activities with intent to deceive or defraud
SYNQ uses a combination of AI-powered content review and human moderation to keep the community safe. Activity posts and images are automatically screened before publication. Our moderation team reviews flagged content and takes action when guidelines are violated. We respect cultural context — Swiss German dialect and regional expressions are understood and not incorrectly flagged.

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can report activities, messages, or users directly from the app. All reports are reviewed by our team, and reporter identities are kept confidential.
Violations of these guidelines result in progressive action: 1. First violation: Warning and content removal 2. Repeated violations: Temporary suspension 3. Severe or continued violations: Permanent ban Severe violations (threats, illegal content, safety risks) may result in immediate permanent ban without warning.
